Wishing You a New Year Filled With Love..and How I Began My New Year

For last year's words belong to last year's language and next year's words await another voice. And to make an end is to make a beginning.
T.S. Elliot

I wish all my readers, haters of my blog, and my friends and family and their friends and family a very happy new year that is filled with love and happiness.

I generally do not believe in resolutions and nor I resolve to do or not do anything in a particular year. I feel it is too much of an effort and it makes me feel bound. But this year, I have promised myself to remain more calm and composed from within. I would make conscious efforts to be more at peace and not just this year but all the years to come.

So glad to share with you that I had a love(ly) start of the year. At 6 am, clumsily I walked out of the room to open the main door and as I opened it, a beautiful surprise awaited me.

My baby sitter had decorated an amazing Rangoli art in the Veranda. She came at 4 o clock in the morning, in the dark night. It took her an hour to draw it and she left at 5 am. It was such a wonderful piece of art. Have a look.

Then by the time I got ready for the day, I had another flowery surprise. A bouquet of fresh flowers!

For the later half, we went for snorkeling at Ross and Smith Islands. Thanks to my lovely bubbly friend Neethu, who wanted to take me for snorkeling for such a longgg time. Finally, we did it yesterday. And the experience was beyond words and few pictures.

I had a memorable start of the year and I wish and I will try my best to keep the spirits going all the year through.

Hope you all had a great start too! And if you did not, its okay. You can start it any time. The moment you start it, your year starts exactly then! :)
