My New Recipes..

Hey All,

Today's post is a little different. I am going to post some pictures of the new recipes that I invented and later tried. I hope you like them.

I am not a good cook and nor I enjoy cooking but yeah I enjoy trying desserts (that is probably because I have a strong sweet tooth) and that too new recipes. You can say I like experimenting with food.

Today i.e. on Raksha Bandhan, I decided to make two desserts for my two siblings. One for my brother and one for my sister. Good news is that both of these do not need to be baked and can be made in minutes. Really! Read on to discover more.

That is Chocolate Bread Roll

Ingredients:

2 Bread slices (1 slice for each roll)
Fresh Milk cream
Sugar
1/4 cup dry fruits - almonds, cashewnuts,
Coconut powder
Chocolate powder

Directions:

1. Finely chop dry fruits.
2. Dry roast them in a pan
3. Take the pan off heat and let it cool. Mix milk cream with the nuts and prepare a mix
4. In a plate mix coconut powder and chocolate powder (make sure your cocoa powder or chocolate powder is sweet in taste) and keep aside
5. Cut the edges of the bread slices
5. Dip the slices in milk for few seconds (till they become soft but not wilt) and squeeze the excess milk
6. Spread the milk cream and nut mix on the slices
7. Roll the slices and make a roll
8. Roll them in the coconut and chocolate powder mix
9. Garnish with extra coconut powder
10. Serve

And here is another recipe that I call Crunchy Bread Cream Cake

Ingredients:

Bread slices, Fruit Jam - 1/4 cup, Fresh milk cream, Corn flakes, powdered sugar and nuts

Directions:
1. Mix powdered sugar with the fresh milk cream and keep aside
2. Dry roast nuts in a pan on low heat
3. Grind corn flakes to powder form
4. Cut the edges of the bread slices
5. Spread fruit jam on the bread slice
6. Spread milk cream mix over the jam over the slice
7. Place one slice over it
8. Spread jam and cream over the second slice
9. Place the third slice over it
10. Spread powdered corn flakes over the third slice
11. Garnish with little cream swirl and nuts
12. Serve

Note: if you wish you can also fill up nuts and corn flakes powder between the slices as well.

I hope you enjoyed the recipes. If you try them, please let me know who did they come.
