Inspiring Tuesday: Words That Motivate You

Few days back, I started a series called Inspiring Tuesday where I decided to upload one inspirational poster. But then I thought that instead of simply uploading posters, let me also upload something motivates Womanatics. And what better than the kind words that many of you write to me! Isn't it?

So, from now onwards, I would publish the sweet words that you have written to me. This would not only mark the beginning of a loving week for Womanatics but it would also inspire you to work better on your relationsships as you know these are words from a woman like you and from someone who has made it work despite adversity.

So, I would like to begin the series with a very sweet email that I got from a loyal reader of my blog, T (I prefer using initials). She has been always generous in writing kind words to me. I am so happy that she has made a beautiful decision in life and is very happy with her life right now. I was so touched with her gesture when she said she wanted to talk to me. I could not be happier. There are times when my readers tell me that they want to talk to me. I gladly pass on my number to them and it is always a pleasure to speak to them.

Lets wish her all the best for ever. This is what she wrote to me:

Hey Surabhi,

I hope things are wonderful at your end. I spoke to people associated with womanatics about the sad part of life, it is time I share the happy updates as well.Coming out of a dead relationship once seemed impossible to me, but, all thanks to you and the wonderful ladies on womanatics for boosting my morale and helping me come out of hell.

Months after I got rid of my over-possessive boyfriend, today I am again in a relationship, but only a beautiful one. Never in my life I knew that somebody as understanding as him would enter my life and make it worth living. If not for people here, I wouldn't have ever let anybody enter my life once again.

So, here is a small token of big thank you for encouraging me, motivating me, helping me and most importantly being around. Surabhi, thank you for being that one wonderful friend I can pour out my heart to and for all the encouraging words. Because, indeed these words helped me create space for my Mr. Right in my territory and let him beautify it once again.

You are doing a wonderful job, keep up the good spirits.

Love,
T

  1. I would agree with all the kind words about you.You are very inspiring. I am just curious, how did you develop this kind of broad mindedness and accomodating attitude? Is it just the person that you were, from childhood, that you knew how to deal with relationships? There are times when you just lose hope.. annoyed at your own decisions.Have you ever felt like that in any relationship?

  2. Hey Sandy, thanks for calling me broad minded and accommodating :) It always feels good to hear good things about one self.

And nahi yaar, I have my own flaws. I am highly over possessive and I frown at the very sight of my hubby talking with another woman. I am very lazy and my husband thinks I dont give him the attention and the time that he wants. And I constantly try to improve myself on these.

I have had a tough time as well in my marriage. Initial one year was very tough for me. I wanted to run away from everything and everyone. But I stayed. And now I am so glad I did.
