My Gujarat Tour

Hey All, I have been away from my dear Womanatics for a very long time. But as most of you know I was vacationing in Gujarat and that is the reason I couldn't write here regularly!

And since the time we are back, we all have fallen ill. First it was Pahal who caught fever right there in Gujarat on the last day of our trip, then I got badly rising temperature immediately on our return and now its Sanjay! While I and Pahal are relatively better, he is having a hard time with his bad throat, cold and headache.

My trip to Gujarat was fun and loads of shopping. :) We spent about 7 days in Kutch, Dwarka and Diu and I loved Gujarat. The colors, culture and people - all make Gujarat a very vibrant and loveably-liveable place.

I decided to do capture my trip here on Womanatics for you all. Please leave comments below, you know how much I love hearing from you. :) Let me begin it with one of the first pictures that I clicked.

After reaching Bhuj, we started our journey towards Rann the next morning. This is a random click of the road that leads to Kala Doongar.

This is the hill top of Kala Doongar. It was such a wonderful sight. I still miss it. I just didnt want to come back from there. Sitting there and feeling the cool breeze was so refreshing. I truly wish to visit this place once again.

Thats the magnificent view from Kala Doongar.

Yeah, you know who this is.. hihihi

From Kala Doongar, we proceeded to see the famous and beautiful Rann of Kutch. It is a vast salt land that is often called the white desert or the salt desert. The pic below was taken by me when the baap-beti were steadily marching towards the vast Rann!

One of the best experiences of the whole trip was having a camel ride at the Rann. Pahal was so amazed at seeing a camel for the first time in her life that she did not want to take her eye off him. Then, she didnt want to climb on it because she was scared. This is a pic of that moment.

After returning from Rann, we headed straight to Gir. We spotted several beasts and birds there but the most fascinating sight was that of a giant lion sleeping. This is it.

Below is the Forest resort where we stayed. It was a lovely place!

From Gir, we visited the famous Somnath temple. I loved it. I don't know what happened to me but I did feel enlightened there.. :D

From Somnath, our next destination was Diu. I would call Diu one of the most beautiful places of India. It was awesome. Here we visited the fort first and Pahal wanted to climb on her own. She did too! :-*

And last but not the least, the HERO!

So, this is it. I hope you guys enjoyed the pics; waiting to hear from you!
