So, yesterday Pahal turned three.
I can't believe the tiny little being is now almost half of my height!
More than anything it is incredible how she is now grown up to understand my feelings and my silence.
Often, when I am too busy reading something or surfing online, she quietly comes near me and asks, 'what happened mumma? Are you angry?' She now understands and believes that her mom's silence is a sign of anger which is mostly truly but not always.
Kids and particularly daughters have their own ways of reaching out to your hearts. The way she tells me which clothes to wear or the way she tries to comb my open hair is nothing but a way of showing her loving instincts.
Pahal is THE best thing to happen in my life other than Sanjay. She not only made me a mother but a more patient and calm human being and a happy woman too.
Yesterday, as she turned three I decided to throw a little party which was very similar to the one that we had last year. Just that this year, I said NO to gifts, whether hand made or ready made.

The invitees were the kids of the helpers who help me around the house and we had lot of fun with playing games, cutting cakes and lots of photography.

A BIG thankyou to all who wishes her on phone and or on FB. Your wishes mean a lot to not only her but also to me! :)
Stay around, we need love to live!
I am quite occupied with a piece of writing that I have undertaken which is why I am not being too regular on the blog. You are more than welcome to send YOUR STORIES and I hope I finish my work soon and get back to blogging.
Till then, enjoy this small bite of cake that we cut yesterday!
